GSPay Payment gateway

This payment gateway consist of two type in our integration. First is used API and second is a non API, there is a limitation on GSPay non API integration where once we post the customer to their payment page at GSPay terminal. the customer will never return back to the store's final page. SO how do we approved this transaction? yes there is Callback notification of the payment status ONLY. In this way we manage to process the order(s) but not manage to greet the customer with a final payment (thank you) page.

Otherwise, for API all this limitation solved and same goes to other API integration, it is best to use this kind of payment gateway integration as your customer no need to leave your store and can encourage them to pay and buy more after payment made without leaving your store.

Just dapat this new payment gateway after lunch today... I think, i should be able integrate this into our solution. Hope that i can finish within 2 days...

On hand task :
GiveAnything.com and Stone Edge Integration still pending...both waiting for their tech guy email (explaining about the issue)...

Paypal issues:
The current setting doesn't allow customer to see their orders details.. whenever we pass to paypal payment page (standard), we only pass total amount to charge and some description about where the orders came from...

Whats need to be done is that we want to show the paypal cart shown as ours, means that instead of showing only where the orders came from.. we want to show the orders details as well...e.g list all items bought.. shipping and handling.. tax and etc..

16 january 2007 - Update
This payment gateway may not compatible with our solution, but i did email their tech guy for some condition to enable this to happen. The only problem is that they do not pass back status of that particular orders we passed. This will cause all our orders state as aborted! This worst case scenario to our merchant.

Google Checkout Review

3 January - 5 January 2007 (Resolve Time Frame)

Problem Reported

1. When the orders go through Google Checkout, it doesn't come back to estore.
2. Some items ordered cannot go through Google Checkout - Bad Signature On Cart error message

Feedback

• 1st - The reason of the order doesn't come back to estore is that somehow the orders details have been deleted by the customer him/herself when clear the cart items, after they return to estore. Generally google checkout will process any orders come in a seconds but if this doesn't happen, means google having delay process the orders.. then this may occur!
• 2nd - This happen because of there are some prohibit character in the xml that we pass to google checkout. This may due to items name/description may consist Unicode decimal reference not UT8 code.
  

Resolved (1st Issue)

• We are no longer depends on estore cart items to process orders from Google Checkout!, we attaching the cart items in xml/wddx format inside google shopping cart xml... then when received new order notification from google checkout, we will use the attached xml (cart items) instead refer to estore cart items to process.
• This will also resolve any missing items or corrupted orders and so on...! Thanks to estore Team ;)

Resolved (2nd Issue)

• For some reason we still cannot resolve this issue... but for short time purpose we will truncate all html tag & special character inside item name/description. This may annoy the orders item representation but temporary solve this issue.
