Google Checkout Review

Problem Reported
- When the orders go through Google Checkout, it doesn't come back to estore.
- Some items ordered cannot go through Google Checkout - Bad Signature On Cart error message
- 1st - The reason of the order doesn't come back to estore is that somehow the orders details have been deleted by the customer him/herself when clear the cart items, after they return to estore. Generally google checkout will process any orders come in a seconds but if this doesn't happen, means google having delay process the orders.. then this may occur!
- 2nd - This happen because of there are some prohibit character in the xml that we pass to google checkout. This may due to items name/description may consist Unicode decimal reference not UT8 code.
- We are no longer depends on estore cart items to process orders from Google Checkout!, we attaching the cart items in xml/wddx format inside google shopping cart xml... then when received new order notification from google checkout, we will use the attached xml (cart items) instead refer to estore cart items to process.
- This will also resolve any missing items or corrupted orders and so on...! Thanks to estore Team ;)
- For some reason we still cannot resolve this issue... but for short time purpose we will truncate all html tag & special character inside item name/description. This may annoy the orders item representation but temporary solve this issue.
